Immediate Volunteer Opportunites

PEOPLE TO HELP MOVE ITEMS BEGINNING ON THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 8TH

Assist with moving items: People needed to help with loading and unloading items to and from storage. Help is mostly needed on Thursday Sept. 8 and again on Sunday, Sept. 11. Complete a volunteer application or contact Debbie at 472-0901 if available to help.

Get your groups involved. Conway EcoFest needs you. MANY people are needed to help set up tents, tables, signs, traffic control, First Aid station, and a variety of tasks during the event. Complete a volunteer application or contact Debbie at 472-0901 today!

Publicity Committee Members

Volunteers needed to be apart of our Publicity Committee. This committe works on all aspects of publicity for Conway EcoFest including T-Shirts, Posters, Networking, TV Ads etc. If you would like to volunteer for this committee please contact us.

Office Help Volunteer

TRANSPORTATION SECTION

Need a co-coordinator, and exhibitors for the following areas: Bikes, Pedestrian, Rail, MetroPlan ... issues that deal with all types of transportationn.

RECYCLING/LANDFILL/WASTE/LITTER

Coordinator(s) needed. Outline and materials will be provided.

NATURAL RESOURCES

: A Co-Coordinator to help develop a broad look at Natural Resource; to coordinate exhibitors to avoid duplication of topics. Contact Allison Nicholas, allison.nicholas@gmail.com

HEALTH

(This sections will connect with the Organics section) Coordinator needed to coordinate and recruit exhibitors to include health issues impacted by the environmental issues: Air, water, pollution; exhibits that are linked to healthy foods/organics: Autism, allergies,...

GREEN BUILDING

Green Building Exhibitors to help educate in what to look for, what's available, the many benefits of it, etc.

GLOBAL SECTION

EDUCATION

Need a Co-Coordinator to help with layout and contacting some of the educational institutions/organizations. Sharing our local/Regional Environmental Education (and degree) opportunities for students and teachers.

ECO TOURS

Help coordinate tour of Landfill and Recycling Center, and maybe a second one to Sustainable buildings. (Tours will run approximately 8:30-10:00)

CARDBOARD CAR DERBY

Couple of ways to help here: Someone to help co-coordinate and develop this event, and help promote the event ahead of time, beginning now. Construct a car to promote your business, club, youth group, etc.

CAR SHOW

Need a coordinator for this area. Hybrid, electric, alternative power vehicles. Contact Us if interested.

AGRICULTURE/ORGANICS
